| Q1: |
Will the WebDT Signage System require Internet connection? |
| A1: |
Typically yes as contents and schedules can then be managed remotely from a central location. However there are cases where the remote location doesn’t have internet connection. At that point, you can simply utilize the WebDT USB Offline Update Tool to update schedules and contents via a portable USB drive.

|
| Q2: |
What happens if Internet connection is interrupted or lost? |
| A2: |
The WebDT Signage System requires Internet connection to download and update content. However, once the content is downloaded, it can run without the Internet connection. Temporary loss of Internet connection will not affect the operation of the displays. Once the Internet connection is back, the device will automatically check with the WebDT Content Management Server for content updates. |

|
| Q3: |
Can I setup my own server to host all my media content instead of using the hosting service? |
| A3: |
Yes, when you purchase the WebDT Signage System, you will receive a CD that has the installation package for the Web Content Manager Server software. You will need a Microsoft Server to install the package. |

|
| Q4: |
Why have you chosen XP Embedded as the platform to build your signage solution? |
| A4: |
The ability inherent in the XP Embedded OS as a more mature operating system allows us to develop graphically intensive programs, and it has an easy to use user interface. This includes the development of a user defined template architecture, allowing users to define content zones and have each zone displaying different media on one screen. |
|
|
| Q5: |
What's a media player? |
| A5: |
In the signage market, the media player is the device that plays the content files (jpeg, Flash, wmv, Powerpoint, ticker, etc) to be shown on the display. The modular SA1000 serves as the "media player", also called the "signage appliance", and this is what is integrated into our all-in-one display or integrated computing display. |

| Q14: |
How is the disc space on the SA Device being managed? |
| A14: |
| • |
The WebDT Player has a cleanup tool which deletes files not used by any schedule on a daily basis. |
| • |
While downloading, the player will also clean up space right away if it runs out of space. |
| • |
After cleanup, if all schedules still contain too many media files that won’t fit thoroughly onto the disk, player will then start deleting media files that had been scheduled in the future to ensure that the current schedule can still run well. |
| • |
If the current schedule contains too many media files to fit onto the disk, the server will finally send a warning email to the group manager.
